All funds donated to Heartbeat Victoria for St.Vincent's Hospital are received by St.Vincent's Hospital Foundation on our behalf and allocated directly to Cardiothoracic Special Projects. Over the years, St.Vincent's Hospital Melbourne has earned an enviable reputation for the quality of care provided, its excellence as a teaching hospital and referral centre, and for its internationally renowned research programs. The foundation exists to generate funds through philanthropic and business partnerships. The challenge is to ensure we have the funds for continuity and growth, to upgrade and maintain equipment, employ expert personnel, further research and teaching, and to build on positive progress already made.
